Renewal
SSL certificates must be renewed before they expire to avoid browser security warnings.
- We generate your renewal invoice automatically before the expiry date and send reminders by email.
- Renewals are billed at the regular price of your plan (first-purchase discounts apply to new orders only).
- Once the renewal invoice is paid, a new certificate order is placed and you receive a fresh configuration link and PIN. Submit a CSR, validate the domain and install the new certificate as with a new order.
- Renew early – any remaining validity is usually carried over by the CA (up to the allowed maximum).
You can pay a renewal invoice any time from Client Area → Invoices.
Multi-year plans
Industry rules limit how long a single certificate can be valid. With a 2- or 3-year plan you are covered for the whole term, but the certificate itself is reissued during the term at no extra cost. We will remind you when a reissue is due.
Reissue (free)
Request a reissue if you:
- lost the private key or moved to a new server,
- need to change the CSR details, or
- suspect the private key was compromised.
Generate a new CSR, then open your SSL service in the Client Area, use the configuration link to reissue, or open a ticket and we will reissue it for you.
